Test Review Information
SUMMER GRADUATION TEST INFO:
Testing will take place at the Professional Development Center (Board of Education Office): 179 West Athens Street, Winder, GA 30680 (770) 867-4527

ELA (English Language Arts) Graduation Test – Monday, July 14, 8:30am

Science Graduation Test – Monday, July 14, 1:00pm

Math Graduation Test – Tuesday, July 15, 8:30am

Social Studies Graduation Test – Tuesday, July 15, 1:00pm (See links below)

Writing Test – Wednesday, July 16, 8:30am
Student Guides - include description of the test, sample test items and explanations, and practice questions, (Current high school students will take the “GPS” version of the GHSGT.)
For all students:

Continue to use www.usatestprep.com. If you don’t remember your account information, see Ms. Griffith in Guidance.

Attend the review sessions that have been scheduled for you.

Stay after school on “Tutoring Tuesdays”. If needed, see if you can arrange other times for extra help with teachers before/after school.

Study and study frequently

Use Google to find other study help that different schools may have posted.

Don’t pull an “all nighter”…cramming and staying up late the night before a test will likely add to your stress level as well as deprive you of much needed sleep

Find a “Study Buddy”…perhaps someone else taking the same test or someone willing to look over the material with you and quiz you over it

Eat breakfast before taking the test…perhaps something light like cereal or nutri grain bars

Use the internet as a resource to study…sites like www.youtube.com are full of useful videos on any subject you may need. (I HIGHLY recommend watching a few videos from the Crash Course World History series. They are both fun and very informative)
